The Roadmap to reopening

22/02/21 – 17:11 – The Prime Minister has announced today that self-catering accommodation must remain closed until Monday 12th April 2021. The opening will be subject to the levels of infection continuing to drop.  When the accommodation reopens, social contact rules will continue to apply in all settings, so indoor mixing between different households will not be allowed.

We have placed a block on bookings being made with an arrival date before the 12th April. If you require accommodation for work purposes or any other reason permitted under Government Guidance, please contact us directly.

Existing Bookings with an arrival date before the 12th April 2021:

Bookings made with us directly or via HomeAway/VRBO:

  • We will contact you in the next few days to help facilitate a change of dates for your booking, or where a change of dates isn’t suitable for you, a full refund will be offered.

If you booked with Airbnb, Booking.com, or TripAdvisor Rentals:

  • Contractually, we cannot make any changes to bookings that originated via these online travel agents. Therefore, please contact them directly for assistance, and they will, in turn, make any changes in line with their cancellation policies.

Existing Bookings with an arrival date between 12th April and 17th May 2021, with guests from more than one household:

Bookings made with us directly or via HomeAway/VRBO:

  • We will contact you in the next few days to help facilitate a change of dates for your booking that will allow more than one household. Where a change of dates isn’t suitable for you, a full refund will be offered.

Future Bookings:

We have revised our booking terms and conditions in response to the uncertainty of making future bookings.

  • If you place a new booking (in line with any restrictions in place at the time e.g. “rule of six”) and subsequently you are unable to take up the booking due to complying with a Government Order, Direction or a Change in Law, then you will be entitled to either move your booking to alternative dates or, where moving your booking isn’t a suitable option for you, receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations for any other reason, including illness, will remain subject to our standard terms and conditions which can be read here.
