Perched on the fell side, the Cottage benefits from uninterrupted views of the valley and fells beyond, including Whernside. The cottage has been converted from a redundant farm building. It now offers high-quality accommodation and facilities, with many retained characterful features, including a mix of slate and oak floors.
Whernside View Cottages is also just 20 minutes drive from the Lake District National Park, making it an ideal base to explore the Dales, and the Lake District, and it is also a perfect base if you are walking the famous Dales Way.

Sedbergh, 1-mile away, is a small town that sits within the county of Cumbria, yet also within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It lies about 10 miles east of Kendal, 28 miles north of Lancaster and about 10 miles north of Kirkby Lonsdale. Sedbergh benefits from three pubs, The Red Lion, The Black Bull and The Dalesman Country Inn, as well as a number of eateries and cafes.
Walkers will enjoy the many local walks over the Howgills or just a short drive into the Lake District, you can explore the many fells.
