Lund House

Ulverston
Sleeps 12
Bedrooms 6
Dog Friendly
Lund House is a gorgeous six-bedroom detached house in Ulverston that has been completely refurbished throughout to provide a modern self-catering holiday home that is perfectly suited for extended families to holiday together or perhaps groups of friends gathering for a celebration.

Unassuming from the outside, this uber-stylish house is beautiful inside and spans three floors; the ground floor comprises the large living room with plush sofas, wall-mounted TV and modern electric fire, and the kitchen - a fantastic social space with a large breakfast counter and long picnic-bench-style dining table.

Of course, if you don't fancy cooking, Ulverston town centre is a 15-minute walk away, where you will find a variety of pubs, eateries and shops to choose from.

On the first and second floors are the six beautifully-decorated bedrooms, two of which are en suite, and two large house bathrooms, one with a bath and shower over and the other with a walk-in shower.

Lund House benefits from an enclosed south-facing garden with a paved patio space and stone chippings - this is a wonderful space on a warm sunny day to have a BBQ or simply socialise with a few drinks.

The owners have taken great thought in the layout to maximise the space for the number of guests so you won't feel cramped under any circumstances.

The location of Lund House is ideal for exploring the Furness Peninsula as well as the Lake District National Park. Both Coniston and Windermere are only a short drive away from the house. The town hosts a number of festivals throughout the year, our personal favourite being the Dickensian Festival, held in November each year, where you will find multiple performance stages, roving street performers, hot mulled wine, wonderful stalls, and costume parades through the historic town streets.
