Toffeepot Cottage

Kendal
Sleeps 4
Bedrooms 2

Toffeepot Cottage is a traditional stone-built terraced cottage perfect for couples or small families. The owners have undertaken a full refurbishment in 2025 to make Toffeepot a cosy and characterful bolthole, ideally positioned for enjoying all of Kendal's attractions and for easy access into the central Lake District. Enter via a covered passageway into the kitchen which has all new fixtures and fittings and a small dining table.

The kitchen is set-up with all new electricals to include an electric oven and halogen hob, fridge freezer and dishwasher. Step through to the cosy lounge which has a sumptuous leather corner sofa and Smart TV. You'll be toasty warm here thanks to the all-new gas central heating system. Open-tread steps lead from the lounge to the two upstairs bedrooms. The front bedroom has a Kingsize metal bedstead and there is a built-in wardrobe as well as a chest of drawers and dressing table with mirror. The twin bedroom has two 3ft antique style metal bedsteads. The house bathroom features a walk-in shower and antique style towel radiator.

There is a rear yard with sturdy metal garden furniture and plant pots to make this a cheerful south-facing suntrap. Although there is no off-road parking here, you will find free street parking not too far away or, if you are arriving by public transport, Kendal town Railway Station and the bus station are both within a 5-minute walk. You will be within 5 or 10 minutes walk of all of Kendal's many attractions - be that the many great places to eat out, the Brewery Arts Centre, or to set off to explore further afield - Windermere is just 8 miles up the road and the high fells of the central Lakes just a few miles further on.
