4. Explore the Lakes by Bus

No matter where you’re staying in the Lake District, getting out and about has never been easier, and with the government scheme to make public transportation more financially accessible, you can now go anywhere for £2 or less up until October 31st, then £2.50 till November 2024!* Whether you’re staying in Windermere, Kendal, Ambleside or Glenridding, rest assured that the bus routes span across the entire Lake District.
