- Bedroom: King-sized double bed with luxury linens, blackout blind, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a hairdryer.
- Bathroom: En-suite with large walk-in rainfall shower and a separate, freestanding bath, basin with light-up mirror, hand towels, bath sheets, heated towel rail, luxury Cole and Lewis hand and body wash, hand lotion and shampoo.
- Living Space: The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living room have French doors and full-length windows overlooking enclosed decking. It features central heating and an electric stove.
- Kitchen: Fully equipped (electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, pans, utensils, crockery, cutlery, kettle, toaster).
- Dining Area: Dining table with seating for two.
- Lounge Area: Two-seater sofa, matching armchair, cushions, throws, a WiFi-enabled Smart TV with streaming apps (You will require your own login details for the streaming apps) and a DVD player.
- Outdoors: Enclosed elevated decking area with a bistro set and parasol and ample parking for two cars.
- Communal Facilities: There is a laundry room with a washing machine, dryer, iron, ironing board, freezer, and dog towels. Use of these facilities is free.
- Pets are not permitted in this lodge.
- Due to the remote location, mobile network coverage can be patchy, but each lodge has its own WiFi, so you’re not completely cut off from the outside world.
- Bed linen, towels and a starter supply of consumables are provided for guests.
- Smoking, including vapes and e-cigarettes, is not permitted indoors.
- High Borrans Lodges are designed for couples. We do not recommend them for families with infants or toddlers.
- The lodge is situated on a working farm with livestock, which may occasionally bring the sounds and smells associated with farming.
About the location
High Borrans Farm is ideally situated just a 10-minute drive from Windermere in the picturesque Lake District. The farm is located approximately two and a half miles from Windermere and less than 20 minutes by car from Ambleside. Its convenient position, just a mile off the A591, provides excellent access to the entire national park, including popular destinations such as Keswick, Grasmere, and Ullswater.

The farm is situated at an elevation of around 1,300 feet on heather-clad fell tops, an area historically used for grouse shooting.
