Lonsdale Villa

Penrith
Sleeps 14
Bedrooms 7
Dog Friendly
Lonsdale Villa blew us away - it's absolutely gorgeous! Positioned on the hillside above Penrith Town Centre, this 7-bedroom house sits within its own private 3/4 acre grounds with established gardens, and it offers guests a truly unique experience.

Spanning three floors, each room of this fabulous house has been creatively decorated, ranging from calming pastels in one room to a dungeonesque theme in another - it really is quite something to behold, but utterly fabulous!
Smaller Group? You can book just half the house, accommodating six guests.

The ground floor comprises the central hallway and a grand wooden staircase. Leading off from the central hall is the Drawing Room with comfy sofa seating, mullioned windows and a lovely woodburning fire set in the original fireplace. The cosy snug also benefits from a bar and wood-burning fire, an ideal room to relax in peace with a good book. Finally, the heart of the house is the kitchen with four ovens, two dishwashers and the beautiful handmade wooden kitchen island to congregate around and discuss the day's activities while cooking a homely meal; better yet, why not arrange a private chef to come in a do the catering for you!

Moving to the first floor, you have three suites: Helvellyn, The Langdales and Honistor; each suite has been uniquely decorated and has en suite facilities. The Langdales also has an adjoining sitting room (Little Langdale), which can be used as a child's bedroom.

The top floor of the house is The Loft, with four more bedrooms and a spacious living room; this floor is ideal for the younger generation to enjoy the awesome sound system or perhaps stream films on the 50" curved screen Samson TV!

The established gardens are equally special, with views looking over Penrith to the fells beyond. The large patio has lots of outdoor furniture and two gas BBQs for guests to use. The hot tub is undercover and available year-round.

Everything you could need for a family holiday, a getaway with friends or even a business away-stay with colleagues is offered at Lonsdale Villa.

Note: Lonsdale Villa can be hired in conjunction with the Hermitage Lodge, which is also situated on the grounds of Lonsdale Villa Retreat, expanding total occupancy to 18 guests.
