Rose Cottage is situated on a quiet country lane in the village of Witherslack. It is a quintessential two-bedroom chocolate box cottage with exposed wooden beams, a cottage-style kitchen, a log-burning fire and a pretty garden.

Witherslack is a picturesque village with a fabulous pub called the Derby Arms, which serves great food, and a community shop run by local volunteers, where you can buy locally produced food items and essentials. It's an ideal location from which to explore the south Lakes region including Windermere, Grange-over-Sands, Ulverston, Cartmel and Consiton, although the Western Lakes and coastal areas are easily accessible too. The quiet lanes make this area ideal for walkers and cyclists, too; the popular Bay Cycleway passes through the village. You'll be spoilt for choice.

This gorgeous Lake District cottage has everything you need for a wonderful family holiday with two floors; on the ground floor, you'll find the well-equipped kitchen with a dining table in the centre and modern appliances, and the living room with comfy sofa seating, a window box seat and a fabulous wood-burning fire.

Upstairs are the two beautifully decorated bedrooms: a king-size double bedroom with a wood-panelled feature wall, bedside tables and a pretty dressing table, and the twin with two 3ft single beds sharing a central bedside table and a lovely pastel pink feature wall.

Outside is the lovely garden, with garden furniture, enclosed by a fence to keep your dog safe. A private off-street parking space is located around the corner of the cottage, and cars can also park on the lane if required.
